The Breeder will transfer full ownership of the said Dachshund puppy
for $____________ to be paid in full before shipping or picking
up
said puppy, unless stated otherwise. Puppy (includes health
records, registration papers (if applicable), puppy food, and a blanket)
Each additional day puppy is kept beyond agreed delivery date a
$15.00 boarding fee will be applied. Seller will hold puppy 3 days
past
delivery date at which date Buyer automatically relinquishes
puppy back to Oak Grove Farm Doxies.

The BUYER will assume all additional costs of shipping, which may or
may not include Air Charges, Land Travel Charges, Certified Vet
Health Certificate and Crate Fees.
A pet puppy is defined to be a Dachshund puppy, which is in good
health at the time of sale, and embodies the characteristics of the
Dachshund breed. This puppy is purebred and is registerable with
the American Kennel Club (AKC).
To the best of the BREEDERS knowledge, this puppy is free of
internal and external parasites, and infectious diseases. This
puppy
is the offspring of parents that have been on a heart worm and
flea preventative program. The puppy’s parents maintain regular vet
visits including vaccinations and regular de-worming.
Every effort has been made to provide you with a healthy
puppy/dog. You MUST continue the same course. The BUYER agrees to
have this puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of
delivery.
If the BUYERS veterinarian finds the puppy to be other than healthy
within 72 hours, it may be returned to the BREEDER. If the
BUYER
returns the puppy, the BREEDER will either refund the purchase price
or replace the puppy (this refund does not include
additional fees
incurred by the BUYER such as: Air Charges, Land Travel Charges,
Certified Vet Health Certificate, Crate Fees,
Vet Bills, etc.). The
choice of refund or replacement is solely the BREEDER’S. If the
BUYER chooses to keep the puppy, the BUYER
is solely responsible for
all veterinarian costs relating to the treatment of the puppy. A
detailed statement by a licensed veterinarian
who has examined the
puppy must precede the return of the puppy for health reasons and
shall state what the ailment is, treatment
and costs, and where the
veterinarian feels the problem originated.
If the puppy is found to have a life threatening problem or an
untreatable disease, the BUYER must provide the BREEDER with a
medical report to that effect certified by a licensed veterinarian
and describing the exact nature of the health defect. Under no
circumstances is the puppy to be euthanized without permission from
the BREEDER.
If the BREEDER replaces the puppy, the replacement animal will be of
equal value. The replacement will be made as soon as a puppy
of
equivalent color, pattern and gender becomes available. Any
replacement or refund is limited to the puppy only and does not
include additional fees incurred by the BUYER such as: Air Charges,
Land Travel Charges, Certified Vet Health Certificate, Crate
Fees,
Vet Bills, etc.).
It is the sole responsibility of the BUYER at the BUYERS expense to
provide immediate veterinary care for this puppy, if it shows
signs
of illness or distress, and failure to do so will render this
contract null and void.
BUYER agrees to maintain this PUPPY in good health, provide routine
health care including, but not limited to, inoculations,
prevention
of internal and external parasites including heartworms and other
preventative medication. Veterinary records must be
provided to
breeder if requesting refund or replacement. If any of the above
preventative care has not been provided, health
warranty will be
void.
If BUYER is unable to care for said puppy in any area of said
puppy’s life span, BUYER is to contact BREEDER for help in placing
it in a new home.
OAK GROVE FARM DOXIES hold no responsibility to misrepresentation of
studs/dams lineages in AKC pedigree documents submitted
from other
kennels/breeders. All documents submitted from OAK GROVE FARM
DOXIES are true and accurate to the best of our
knowledge.
The legal jurisdiction for this contract is and shall remain in Bee
County in the State of Texas regardless of the last signature
and/or
subsequent state in which it may be signed. This contract is
legally binding to all parties involved. It applies only to the
BREEDER and BUYER in this transaction and it’s non-transferable to
other parties.
The BREEDER neither makes nor implies any warranties or guarantees
express or implies other than those written in the agreement
including, without limitation the warranties of merchantability and
fitness. This document constitutes the entire agreement between
the
BREEDER and BUYER with respect to this sale. The BUYER’S signature
below indicates he/she has read, agrees, and does
understand all the
conditions of the sales Agreement and Contract of Sale.
