Bruno was the beginning of my Miniature Dachshund Love! He was
only with me for
2 years but he definitely left a lasting impression
of what the breed is all about!
The Dachshund is truly the best companion anyone could ask for.
They want to be by your side day and night! They are very
loving and
will give up chasing birds, and squirrels just to lay in your lap!
When I lost
Bruno, I began looking for a new male! I found Freckles,
a red & white piebald! Shortly after I got Freckles, Bruno's
breeder called
me and said that she had a red dapple female that was a half sister
to Bruno.
I went and looked at her and bought her to breed to Freckles.
I kept 1 female to breed from their 1st litter.
In November of 2005, I bought another red & white piebald male from
Dream-a-Dream and a black & tan piebald female out of one of
Dream-a-Dream's studs.
I
also bought my
daughter a Chocolate & Tan Dapple Male for Graduation in 2005!
In 2006, I bought a black & tan
female and in November I bought a
Chocolate & Tan female
from A & N Doxies. In 2007, bought a Chocolate & Tan Male
from Longhorn Kennels.
Now my crew consists of 5 females and 4 males.
